The rich history of success within the Owens Community College Athletic Department includes not only current sport offerings but also sports that have been suspended. Below is a timeline of Express sports as well as a link to program information.
- Current sport offerings: Women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, softball and baseball
- 2018-19 – Baseball and softball re-emerge
- 2016-17 – Men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s golf, baseball and softball were suspended
- 1994-95 – Women’s volleyball returns as a sport
- 1992-93 – Women’s basketball returns as a sport
- 1982-83 – Women’s basketball is suspended
- 1981-82 – Women’s volleyball is suspended
- 1978-79 – Men’s and women’s tennis are removed as sports
- 1976-77 – Women’s volleyball is added as a sport
- 1975-76 – Women’s basketball is added as a sport
- 1974-75 – Men’s and women’s tennis are added as sports
