Season Accomplishments: Offensive Player of the Year, team highest batting average (.424), and set Owens records for hits in a season (67), doubles in a season (13) and runs scored in a season (44).

2000 Owens Honors: He was named OCCAC All-Conference and Player of the Year runner up.

High School: Genoa High School, Genoa, Ohio, where he was Second Team All-Ohio, First Team All-District, First Team All-SLL, MVP of the League and MVP of the District.  He also was selected to play in the Mizuno All-Ohio Game.
