Season Accomplishments: "Golden Glove" award and was ranked No. 15 in the conference for batting average (.349).

High School: Ontario High School, Mansfield, Ohio, where he was Mizuno All-Ohioian, First Team All-District 9, First Team All-League, First All-News Journal and Team MVP as a senior.  As a junior, he was First Team All-League and as a sophomore, he was Second Team All-League.
