Owens Career: In 2003, he recorded 48 hits, compiled a .363 batting average and posted a 7-0 record on the mound. His postseason honors included being named OCCAC All-Academic.

High School: First Team All-City League and All-District, Academic All-Ohio and a member of Waite's City League championship baseball team.
