Gabe Medina returns for his second season with the Owens men's baseball program as an assistant coach.  He has more than 20 years of coaching experience at various levels, including assistant coach and summer league head coach at Waite High School from 1996-2000.  The Clay High School graduate is also the founder of the Medina Baseball Academy and the Medina Athletics Youth Baseball Program.  He has helped guide many of his teams to the AAU, USSSA, AABC and NABF state and World Series championships.  Medina is employed with Nordmann Roofing Inc. and attended the University of Toledo.  He resides in Toledo.
