Jason Halka begins his second season as an assistant coach for the Express men's baseball program. A graduate of Clay High School, Halka has seven years of experience coaching baseball at the high school level. His coaching experience includes serving as head coach of the Clay High School Junior ACME Summer program from 1999-2002. During his tenure as head coach, Halka guided the program to a fifth place finish in the 2002 Junior ACME State Tournament. In addition, he served as head junior varsity baseball coach at Cardinal Stritch High School in 2003 and head varsity baseball coach at Northwood High School from 2004-05. He earned his bachelor's degree in health and physical education from Bluffton University, where he also was a member of the baseball team. The Rossford resident is a health teacher at Washington Junior High.
