Owens Career: In 2008, he was an OCCAC Academic All-Conference selection.  Winckowski recorded 26 hits and 10 RBIs and compiled a .491 batting average.  In addition, he posted a 2-0 record and a 5.40 earned run average.

High School: 2007 Clay High School graduate, Oregon, Ohio, where he was First Team All-Toledo City League, All-District and All-"Metro Press".
