High School: 2008 Lake High School graduate, Millbury, Ohio, where he was First Team All-Suburban Lakes League, First Team All-District, First Team All-Wood County, and First Team and Second Team All-Ohio.  Additionally, DeCant holds the high school baseball record for stolen bases in a season and a career and was named "Metro Press" Player of the Year.  He also earned First Team All-SLL, First Team All-District, First Team All-Wood County and Honorable Mention All-Ohio honors in football.
