Owens Career: In 2009, he collected 46 hits, 6 stolen bases and 27 RBIs.  Additionally, Daniel compiled a .374 batting average.

High School: 2008 Northmont High School graduate, Clayton, Ohio, where he was First Team All-Greater Western Ohio Conference, First Team All-Dayton Area and a member of the All-Ohio Mizuno Team.  Daniel also holds the high school baseball record for hits in a season.
