Owens Career: In 2009, he was a First Team OCCAC All-Conference selection and earned the team's Outstanding Pitching Award.  Vaughan compiled a 5-1 record and a 1.83 earned run average and registered 40 strikeouts.

High School: 2008 Delta High School graduate, Delta, Ohio, where he was First Team All-Northwest Ohio Athletic League and All-District and Honorable Mention All-Ohio.  Vaughan also earned team MVP and Best Offensive Player honors and holds several high school baseball pitching records.  In addition, he was an All-NWOAL selection in golf and basketball, as well as Academic All-Ohio.
