Myrtle Beach, SC---The Express finished their spring trip in exciting fashion as they won the extra-inning affair over Delaware Technical and Community College 7-3.

Tied at 3-3 entering the 10th inning, the Express got a single by Garrett Busch (Start/Toledo, Ohio) to start the inning before Brown-Lewis reached on an error. Solomon then singled to score both runners, which produced the game winning RBIs in the process.

Blake Schmenk (Perrysburg/Perrysburg, Ohio) then singled before a sacrifice bunt by Michael Louis (Normandy/Parma, Ohio) moved Schmenk to second and Solomon to third.

James Moore (Southfield Lathrup/Farmington Hills, Mich.) singled Solomon in and moved Schmenk over to third. A fielder's choice RBI groundout by Gunn finished the scoring.

Andy Joseph (Southview/Sylvania, Ohio) picked up his second win (2-0) of the season in relief. He pitched the final four innings while allowing one hit, one run, and four walks while striking out three.

Titus Pierce (Eastern/Reedsville, Ohio) started the game and pitched well before departing. The freshman allowed three hits, two runs (one earned) and two walks, while striking out seven in six innings.

Moore and Schmenk each had two hits for the Express, while Brown-Lewis led the team with two runs scored.

Owens will now return home to prepare for its home-opener, which is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday against the Ashland University Junior Varsity.
