2010-11: Louis hit. 204 in 49 at bats last year. He appeared in 23 games, started 18, scored eight runs, had 10 hits, two doubles, one home run and 11 RBIs. He added two stolen bases, while making only one error defensively. He tallied 14 putouts and one assist.

Prior to Owens: Louis comes to Owens after playing baseball and football at Parma Normandy. As a baseball player, he was First Team All-Northeast Ohio Conference as a senior and Honorable Mention All-NEO his junior year under coach Mike Louis. As a football player, he earned Honorable Mention All-Area his junior year. His greatest personal sports thrill was scoring his first touchdown in a game against Massillon on the road.

Personal: Michael is the son of Mike and Andrea Louis. He is an education transfer - adolescent major at Owens.
