2010-11: Moore hit .280 in 50 at bats last season. He appeared in 20 games, started 16, scored 17 runs, had 14 hits, two doubles and 10 RBIs. He had six stolen bases, while making only two errors defensively. Additionally, he tallied 13 putouts and 18 assists to accumulate a .939 fielding percentage.

Prior to Owens: Moore attended Des Moines Area C.C. in Iowa during the 2010 fall semester before transferring to become a member of the Express. At Southfield Lathrup, Moore was named Honorable Mention All-Oakland County honors as a senior and was a member of the All-Oakland Activities Association Red team his sophomore through senior seasons at Southfield-Lathrup.

Personal: James is the son of James Sr. and Wanda Moore. He is an associate of science general concentration major at Owens.
