Prior to Owens: Ozenbaugh was a standout athlete in football and baseball at Elwood. As a member of the baseball team, he was named First Team All-Central Indiana Conference and All-Area as a junior and senior. As a senior, he was selected to the North-South All-Star team, and he was named Third Team 2A All-State. As a junior, he hit nearly .500 and worked with professional scout and area instructor Mike Shirley. Ozenbaugh is believed to be Elwood's all-time leading tackler in the football program. As a freshman, he led the CIC in tackles. His honors included being named All-Area four years, All-CIC as a sophomore, junior and senior and The Herald Bulletin Defensive Player of the Year as a senior. In his final year, Ozenbaugh had 128 tackles (11 for loss), two forced fumbles, one interception and he rushed for 1,310 yards en route to being named First Team All-Indiana. He played linebacker, running back, punter and kicker. He was also a member of the bowling team where he was named Second Team All-Indiana.
Personal: Trevor is the son of Marla and Kelly Ozenbaugh. He is an associate of arts general concentration major at Owens.
