2002-03: As a freshman, Williams averaged 3.9 points and one assist per game.

Prior to Owens: 2002 Shaker Heights High School graduate, Shaker Heights, Ohio, where he earned All-League and All-District honors. A National Merit Scholar, Williams was named Honorable Mention All-Ohio and selected as a team captain.
