Prior to Owens: Lindsey comes to Owens after helping lead Toledo Whitmer to a 2010-11 Toledo City League championship. During that senior year, he was named Second Team All-Toledo City League under the tutelage of head coach Bruce Smith. Lindsey also ran cross country at Whitmer and lists the City League basketball title as his greatest personal sports thrill.

Personal: Franklin is the son of Harold and Genise Lindsey. He is a marketing and sales major at Owens.
