University Center, MI---Justin Edmonds continued his recent scoring tear with 28 points in a 76-73 win over Delta College tonight.
The Express trailed 57-53 with 10:39 remaining in the second half, but rallied to take a 66-65 lead with three minutes left. They stretched it to 75-71 before Delta failed to tie the game in the final seconds.
Edmonds added four assists and five steals - both team-highs. He now has 73 points in the last three games.
Meanwhile, Joe Retic II had 16 points and James Kelly had 12 points, nine rebounds and two blocks.
Tony Boykins chipped in six points.
The Express improved to 7-3 overall. Their next game is at home on Saturday against Kalamazoo Valley Community College at 3 p.m. Their next four games are at home.
