Las Vegas, NV---James Kelly, a sophomore forward for the Express men's basketball team, shined among some of the top junior college players in the United States at the 2013 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Coaches Association All-Star Game in Las Vegas on May 11.

The game was played at Orleans Arena.

Kelly led the West team to a 119-111 victory over the East team as he posted 17 points, 10 rebounds, four steals, two blocks and one assist. He finished second on the team in scoring, tied for first in rebounding, led in steals and tied for the lead in blocks. He finished 8-for-18 from the field.

This past season, Kelly was named First Team All-Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC), First Team All-Region XII and Second Team NJCAA D-II All-American. He finished, perhaps, the best all-around two-year career in Express men's basketball history as he left the program as the only player to record 1,000 points, 600 rebounds, 100 blocks and 100 steals in a career.

As a sophomore, Kelly led the Express to a 26-10 record and a fourth place finish at the NJCAA D-II National Tournament.

Kelly will play at the University of Miami (Fla.) next year.
