Toledo, OH---Franklin Lindsey became the fifth Express men's basketball player from last year's team to sign with a four-year school by signing with Indiana Tech University today.

The sharpshooting sophomore guard averaged 7.4 points and 4.4 rebounds as a sophomore this past year. He started 23 games, while seeing action in all 36 contests en route to earning Honorable Mention All-Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) honors.

His best game as a sophomore came against Sinclair Community College on Jan. 12 when he scored 25 points on 9-for-15 shooting overall and 3-for-5 shooting from 3-point range. He would total 11 games in double figure scoring as a sophomore.

"Frank was a local kid that came in from Toledo and didn't play a lot (as a freshman)," said Express men's basketball head coach Dave Clarke, "but he stepped into a starting role this year and shot the ball extremely well. He's athletic, he's very aggressive and I think at the Indiana Tech level, he's going to be a great addition and play a lot of minutes. He picked the right school and the right level for him to play at."

During his two-year career, Lindsey averaged 6.2 points and 4.1 rebounds. He is a graduate of Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio. As a senior, Lindsey helped the Panthers capture a Toledo City League championship.
