2016-17: Durden was injured prior to the beginning of the season and did not see action in any games.

Prior to Owens: Durden participated in track and field at Cloud County Community College last spring. He won an NJCAA national championship in high jumping. He is a former Division I high school state high jumping champion at Springfield.

Personal: Emanuel II, or "Manny," is the son of Manny Sr., who played men's basketball at Owens from 1989-91, and Mica Durden.. His younger brother, Mason, was also a member of the 2016-17 men's basketball team at Owens. He also has three other siblings - Kayla, Kylee and Sev.
