Men's Basketball Signs Two More

Toledo, OH -- The rosster continues to keep taking shape for the Owens Men's Basketball program since Bruce Johnson was hired almost a month ago. Over the weekend of July 13, Johnson announced the signing of two players to the roster for the upcoming 2018-2019 basketball season.

 

 Tyler Brooks, Madison Preparatory Academy - Brooks hails from Baton Rouge, LA and he is a 6'5 forward. He is the second recruit signed from the South, joining fellow signee Kevin Kirby, who is from Georgia. 

 

 Chris Hughes, Warren G. Harding High School - Hughes is from Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, OH. He is a 6'2 shooting guard, who is a terrific shooter from three point range. He shot over 48% from three during his high school career. 

In total, Johnson has signed eight players to the 2018-19 squad. The Express's first game is slated Saturday, November 3.
