2014-15: Spalding averaged 78.7 strokes over 22 rounds as a freshman. In the fall, he averaged 78.3 strokes over eight rounds. In the spring, he averaged 79 strokes over 14 rounds. In postseason play, he averaged 77.6 strokes over seven rounds. In OCCAC play, he competed in all six tournaments and averaged 80.8 strokes.

In Region XII tournament play, Spalding shot rounds of 77-83-83 for a total of 243 (+27). He finished in 35th place.

Spalding's season-low round came during the second round of the NJCAA Division II National Tournament, where he shot a 72. During the tournament, he shot rounds of 75-72-76-77 for a total of 300 (+12). He finished in a tie for 62nd place.

Over seven postseason rounds, Spalding averaged 77.6 strokes.

Following the season, he was named the team's Co-Coaches Award winner along with Dominic DiGiacomo.

Prior to Owens: Spalding, a 2013 graduate of Summerfield High School in Petersburg, Mich., became the first regional champion in the history of the school as a senior under the direction of head coach Bob Howard.

After advancing past the regional tournament, Spalding shot a 75-73-148 to finish ninth at the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Division 4 state tournament.

In addition to those honors, Spalding was a four-time First Team All-Tri County Conference (TCC) selection, the 2013 County Player of the Year and he earned his team's MVP honor all four years.

Personal: Wyatt is the son of Gary Spalding and Sue VanHuysen. He has four siblings - Luke, Eli, Sydney and Korey.
