2015-16: As a freshman, Kitipongpatana earned First Team All-OCCAC recognition and was named the OCCAC golfer of the week on May 1. He medaled two tournaments.

Kitipongpatana opened the year by averaging 76.43 strokes over seven fall rounds. In conference play, he finished second individually with a 75.13 average. In the Region XII tournament, he shot a 229 (+13) over three rounds to finish in an 11th place tie. Then, in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament, he shot a 302 (+14) over four rounds and tied for 37th place.

In 22 spring rounds, Kitipongpatana averaged 75.47 strokes. He shot a season-low 67 in the second to last conference tournament.

Following the year, Kitipongpatana was the recipient of the NJCAA's Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence.

Prior to Owens: Kitipongpatana has also done well over the past two years. He shot a 74-71 in the TrueVisions-Singha Junior Golf Tour at Royal Hill Golf Resort and Spa on Nov. 9-10, 2013 to finish third. He third in the TrueVisions-Singha Junior Golf Tour and Kabin Buri Sport Club Jan. 26-27, 2013 with scores of 78-73. His other third place finish came in an FCG at San Diego qualifier at the Pine Golf and Lodge where she shot scores of 72-76-73-80.
