Toledo, Ohio---The Owens Community College men's golf program has added three more international student-athletes to this coming year's team, including Bandit Chaisuk, Karit Kitipongpatana and William Mullins.
Chaisuk and Kitipongpatana become the first two players in program history from Thailand.
Chaisuk brings a 73.75 18-hole average and a career low round of six-under. He shot a 71 to win the Chang Thailand Junior Golf Circuit at Victory Park Golf Club on Sept. 21, 2014 and a 73-70-66 to win the TGA-CAT Junior Golf Ranking at the Narai Hills Golf and Country Club on June 7-9, 2013. He also finished second in the 30th National Youth Games July 14-17, 2014 at Ubolrat Dam Golf Course with scores of 71-70-70-75 and at the Mercedes-Benz Junior Golf Championships at Ever Green Hills Golf Club on March 9-10, 2013 with a 73-74 two-round score.
Kitipongpatana, meanwhile, has also done well over the past two years. He shot a 74-71 in the TrueVisions-Singha Junior Golf Tour at Royal Hill Golf Resort and Spa on Nov. 9-10, 2013 to finish third. He third in the TrueVisions-Singha Junior Golf Tour and Kabin Buri Sport Club Jan. 26-27, 2013 with scores of 78-73. His other third place finish came in an FCG at San Diego qualifier at the Pine Golf and Lodge where she shot scores of 72-76-73-80.
Mullins hails from Bristol, United Kingdom, and he is transferring to Owens after a year at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California. He shot a 69 to capture first place at the Western State Conference (WSC) No. 9 at Olivas Links Golf Course on April 20. He also shot a 74 in the 2015 Southern California Preview at Olivas Links Golf Course on March 16 and a 75-75--150 at the WSC Champonships at Rancho Vista Golf Club on April 27.
Those three join Harrison Quirk of Wilnecote High School in the United Kingdom and Dylan Holsclaw of Plainfield High School in Indiana in next year's class.

The Owens men's golf program, led by fourth-year head coach Josh Williams, is currently on the most successful three-year stretch in program history.
In his three years, Williams has led the program to three straight top 10 finishes at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament (10th in 2013, 5th in 2014 and 9th in 2015), including the best finish in program history (2014). In 2014, he helped the team achieve its first No. 1 NJCAA Division II national poll ranking in program history.
Additionally, in his three years, Williams has guided Owens to 37 tournament wins (8 in 2015), two OCCAC championships (2013, 2014), two OCCAC Ryder Cup tournament championships (2013, 2014), three straight Sub-Region XII tournament championships and two Region XII tournament championships (2013, 2014).
