Tiffin, Ohio---The Owens Community College men's golf team sits in second place after one round of the Heidelberg Invitational at Mohawk Country Club today.

Bandit Chaisuk (Nong Khai, Thailand) and Will Mullins (St. Bernadette's/Bristol, United Kingdom) each shot a 77 to lead Owens to a 312 team score, which is seven shots behind first place Ohio Northern University.

Dominic DiGiacomo (Ocean City/Ocean City, N.J.) and Karit Kitipongpatana (Bangkok, Thailand) each added a 79 and Harrison Quirk (Wilnecote/Tamworth, U.K.) shot an 80.

As individuals, Wyatt Spalding (Summerfield/Petersburg, Mich.) and Dylan Holsclaw (Plainfield/Plainfield, Ind.) shot an 82 and 83, respectively.

Ohio Northern's Tyler Davis shot a 72 and is tied with Heidelberg University's Jack Eifel and Muskingum's Jacob Leeuwen for first place through one round.

Chaisuk and Mullins are tied for fifth place individually.

The final round of the tournament will take place tomorrow. Hiram, Lourdes University and Columbus State Community College are the other three teams involved. Heidelberg and Muskingum are tied for third place after each team shot a 315.
