Mike Jamieson spent one season as an assistant golf coach at Owens Community College.

In 2014-15, Jamieson helped the team finished first or second in all but one of 15 tournaments. The team captured eight tournament championships, finished second in the OCCAC, won the Sub-Region XII championship, finished second at the Region XII tournament championship and finished ninth in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

Following the season, three players were named First Team All-OCCAC (Harrison Long, Philippe Weppernig and Dominic DiGiacomo), two players earned First Team All-Region XII honors (Long, DiGiacomo) and two players earned All-Region XII tournament team honors (Long, DiGiacomo). Additionally, Long was named Region XII Player of the Year, PING Second Team All-American and NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American.

Jamieson came to Owens with over 20 years of golf experience as a player and instructor. He has coached junior golf in Denver, Colo. and taught lessons in multiple states. He also caddied at Castle Pines Country Club and in the Celebrity Players Tour.

During his collegiate career, Jamieson was fortunate enough to play golf at two schools. He spent one year in the NCAA at Colorado State of Pueblo and three years in the NAIA at Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. While at Tabor, he won multiple all region honors. He has won several college tournaments and has played in the Collegiate Players Tour.

After college, Jamieson became Mitchell Certified in building custom golf equipment. He custom ­built clubs for all age groups, including LPGA Futures Tour players. He also spent time in Scottsdale, AZ working for Troon Golf, while playing in Monday qualifiers for the PGA and Canadian tours.

Following a move from Wichita, Jamieson has settled with his family in Rossford, Ohio. He is accompanied by his wife Briana and two children, Kailee (age 5) and Cameron (age 2).
