In 2015-16, Brown helped lead Owens to a fifth place finish at the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. Along the way, Owens captured eight tournament championships, won the conference championship and captured the Region XII tournament championship. Sophomore Dominic DiGiacomo won the Region XII Player of the Year award before becoming an NJCAA Second Team All-American. Another sophomore, Will Mullins, won the OCCAC Player of the Year award.

In 2013-14, Brown helped lead Owens to a fifth place finish in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. Two players (Philippe Weppernig and Harrison Long) earned NJCAA Second Team All-American honors, while one player (Brandon Hoelzer) earned PING First Team All-American honors.

In 2012-13, Brown helped the Express to a 10th place finish at the NJCAA D-II National Tournament. Along the way, the team had perhaps its best season in program history as they captured the OCCAC championship, the OCCAC Ryder Cup championship, the Sub-Region XII tournament championship and the Region XII championship. It was the program's first Region XII tournament title. The team also won every OCCAC tournament.
