Owens Career: In 2001, he was an OCCAC First Team All-Conference and NJCAA All-Region XII Team Selection.  Named the team's Offensive MVP, Brown was the conference leader with 26 goals, which also is a team record for goals in a season.  In addition, he had six assists.

High School: Perrysburg High School graduate, Perrysburg, Ohio, where he was Second-Team All-Northern Lakes League as a junior.  During his senior year, Brown earned First Team All-NLL and Second Team All-District, as well as leading the team in goals while receiving Offensive Player-of-the-Year honors.
