Owens Career: In 2002, he was an OCCAC Second Team All-Conference selection.  Wakawa was third on the team with 10 goals and eight assists.

High School: 1999 Toledo Christian High School graduate, Toledo, Ohio, where he earned First Team All-Toledo Area Athletic Conference, All-District and All-Ohio honors.  Named the TAAC's league MVP, Wakawa holds the Toledo Christian High School soccer scoring record with 39 goals.
