Prior to Owens: Niemiec was an Honorable Mention All-Suburban Lakes League selection for the 2006-07 season and a Second Team All-SLL selection for the 2007-08 season under coach Johann Svensburg.

Personal: Blake is the son of DJ and Natalie Niemiec. He is a military science major at Owens.
