Parma, OH - On the heels of a 4-0 shutout of Delta College on Sunday, the Express rebounded and shut out Cuyahoga Community College 6-0 Wednesday night behind the play of AJ Klever (Northview/Sylvania, Ohio) and Chris Kervick (De La Salle College/Waterford, Ireland).

Klever had one goal and two assists, while Kervick added two goals. Other goal scorers were: Troy Thompson (Anthony Wayne/Whitehouse, Ohio), Novak Vuk Janicic (Elektro Technika Skola/Belgrade, Serbia) and Travis Turner (Springfield/Holland, Ohio).

Meanwhile, Sean Kaighin (Clay/Oregon, Ohio), Jauvanie Cole (Coconut Creek/Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Blake Niemiec (Otsego/Bowling Green, Ohio) and Thompson also garnered assists.

Jake Olman (Maumee/Maumee, Ohio) started in goal for the Express, while Jeff Cooperider (Northview/Sylvania, Ohio) relieved him late. Neither player had to save a shot on goal.

Owens (4-3) will now take on Ancilla College at home on Saturday at 1 p.m. Then, on Sunday, the Express will take on Muskegon in a home match at 1 p.m.
