2012: Vuk Janicic experienced a frustrating sophomore year after a phenomenal freshman year. The Belgrade native only played in three games all year due to a nagging injury - the season opener against Cincinnati State, against Muskegon CC on Sept. 29 and the season finale against Cincinnati State in the Region XII semifinals.
2011 season: Vuk Janicic burst onto the scene as a freshman. He had 14 goals and nine assists while finishing as the team's leading scorer. He was 1-for-1 on penalty kicks. Additionally, he earned First Team All-OCCAC and Second Team All-Region XII honors while being named the team's Offensive MVP. In the OCCAC, he was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Year. In Region XII, he was the fifth leading scorer.
Prior to Owens: Vuk Janicic was the leading scorer in the Serbian Zone League with the Trudbenik team. His greatest personal sports thrill is playing in front of a full stadium. Vuk Janicic also participated in handball and volleyball.
Personal: Novak is the son of Janko and Dragana Janicic. He has one sibling, Alexandra, and he is a business management major at Owens.
