Miller's Three Goals Lead Express To 3-1 Win Over Jackson CC

Jackson, MI---Glenroy Miller put on a show as the Express men's soccer team defeated Jackson Community College 3-1 on the road Wednesday.

The sophomore tallied three goals to raise his season total to five through two games. In the first half, Miller scored in the 17th minute to give the Express a 1-0 lead.

Then, minutes into the second half, he notched a second one from about 35 feet out to put Owens up 2-0. Jackson answered back with a goal in the 68th minute to cut the lead in half, but Miller scored again in the 83rd minute to seal the win.

Joshua Kleinow started in goal for the Express and made six saves. Jeff Harding replaced him in the 61st minute and tallied two saves.

Jackson falls to 1-1 (0-1 Region XII) this year.

The Express (2-0, 2-0 Region XII) are now off until Sunday when they travel to Ancilla College (0-0-1) for a 1 p.m. matchup.
