Springfield, IL---Juavanie Cole scored the game winning goal - the game's only goal - in the 78th minute to give the Express men's soccer team a 1-0 win over the College of DuPage in the Loggers Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

The shot came from 10 yards out in the center of the PK box.

Vijay Gentles assisted on the goal, which was his first of the season. Cole, who has assisted on three goals this season, netted his goal of the year.

Owens had five shots on goal and four corner kicks. Josh Kleinow started in goal for the Express and made three saves.

The Express defeated the College of DuPage 3-0 in 2005, which was the only other time the two teams have met.

The win improves the Express to 3-1-1 this year. They will take on host team Lincoln Land Community College tomorrow at 1 p.m. eastern time.
