Toledo, OH---Derrick Skillman scored his fourth goal of the season as the No. 15 Express men's soccer team defeated Jackson Community College 1-0 at the Owens Soccer Complex today.

The goal came when Juavanie Cole hit a crossing shot, which Skillman collected and knocked in at the 35:01 mark of the match. It was Cole's fifth assist of the season, which allowed him to take over sole possession of the team lead from Nickyle Webber.

Meanwhile, Skillman's fourth goal allowed him to tie Webber for second place in goals scored on the team.

Joshua Kleinow started in goal for the Express, and he played all 90 minutes while recording four saves. The freshman notched his third shutout of the year.

The win also marks the fourth straight win overall for the Express, who completed the season sweep of Jackson. The Express defeated Jackson 3-1 on Aug. 29.

The next action for the Express (6-1-1 overall) will be Sunday at 3:30 p.m. against Morton College (IL). The match will be held at the Owens Soccer Complex.
