Webber Garners OCCAC Player of the Week Honors

Toledo, OH---Nickyle Webber has been named the OCCAC men's soccer player of the week for the week ending Oct. 7.

The sophomore midfielder earned the honor by producing four goals and three assists in a three game stretch.

In a 9-2 win over OCCAC foe Cuyahoga Community College, Webber scored three goals and added two assists. After getting shutout against Ancilla College, he then added one goal and one assist in a 3-2 win over Muskegon Community College.

Webber is second on the team in scoring for the No. 15 Express (12-3-1). He has 10 goals and 14 assists.

The award also marks the fifth OCCAC player of the week award for the Express this season as Glenroy Miller has won it three times and Juavanie Cole won it last week.

The Express will hit the road this weekend to take on No. 3 Monroe Community College on Saturday and Mercyhurst North East (PA) on Sunday.
