Montgomery, WV---Sophomore Glenroy Miller, who was one of the most prolific scorers in Express men's soccer history, has signed with West Virginia Tech University.
The Golden Bears, an NAIA school, finished 18-2 last year and advanced all the way to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championship Game before falling 2-1 to Briarcliffe College.
Miller will look to help the Golden Bears stay among the nation's best. He had 26 goals and four assists last year, while finishing with the third most goals in a single season in program history. It was also the second highest individual goal total in the nation.
Following the season, Miller was named First Team All-OCCAC, First Team All-Region XII, OCCAC Offensive Player of the Year and OCCAC Player of the Year. During the season, he was a four-time OCCAC Player of the Week (Sept. 2, Sept. 9, Sept. 16 and Oct. 14).
To cap everything off, Miller was named a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) D-I Second Team All-American.
He finished his career with 42 goals and 11 assists, which gives him the third most career goals and the third most career points in program history.
Following his freshman year, Miller was named the team's Offensive Player of the Year, Second Team All-OCCAC and Second Team All-Region XII.
Miller is a 2003 graduate of St. James High School.

Miller joins fellow sophomore Juavanie Cole in signing with four-year schools. Cole previously signed with NCAA D-I Bowling Green State University.
