Toledo, OH---Jacob Martin scored on a penalty kick just seconds into the second half, but the Express men's soccer team gave up a late goal in regulation to No. 11 Cincinnati State and the game resulted in a 1-1 tie in double overtime.

Martin's PK goal came less than a minute (45:48) into the second half when he was taken down in the box.

Later, Martin nearly created two more penalty kick opportunities, but there was no call on either play. Then, with just 3:10 remaining, Cincinnati State's Bradley Gale scored on an assist from Liam Doyle to tie it up.

In the first overtime, the Express were nearly called for a hand ball in the box early on, but nothing was called.

The game was tight throughout, with both teams combining for nine shots on goal. The Surge out-shot the Express 6-3 in that area.

Joshua Kleinow started in goal and went the distance for the Express. He made a phenomenal save in the first half, while making a few crucial stops in overtime. He finished with five saves.
