Toledo, OH---Vijay Gentles (Cedric Titus/Margate, Fla.) and Bjion Campbell (Coconut Creek/Margate, Fla.) each had first half goals to lead the Express men's soccer team to a 2-1 win over Jackson College today.

From right of the goal, Gentles beat the keeper to the far left side of the net at the 24:58 mark to give the Express a 1-0 lead. Then, with less than three minutes remaining in the half, Campbell had a beautiful goal with his back to the net where he flicked it the other way into the net.

Adane Spence assisted on the first goal, while Gentles assisted on the second.

The goal was Campbell's 11th of the season, while Gentles picked up his ninth goal of the season. Additionally, Gentles added his team-high 14th assist of the season, which is three away from tying the school record for most in a single season (Jeff Brown, 17, 2001). He also produced his 18th career assist today, which ties him for fourth most in program history.

Joshua Kleinow started in goal for the Express and made three saves in cold, wet and rainy conditions throughout.

The Express are now 13-4-1 overall. Their next match is on the road against Cincinnati State next Saturday. The winner will win take home the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) title. Both teams tied for the title last year, and a tie Saturday would result in the same outcome this year.
