Toledo, Ohio---The Owens Community College men's soccer team is ranked 17th in the nation following the release of the first regular season National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I poll today.

The ranking is a jump from the preseason poll in which Owens was in the receiving votes category.

Owens is 3-1 this year with their only loss coming to No. 7 Cincinnati State, 2-1. They will have a chance to avenge that loss on Sunday at home. First, however, Owens will be back in action tomorrow at Lakeland Community College at 4 p.m. They will also take on Morton College at home on Saturday at 1 p.m.
