Toledo, Ohio---Austin Combs (Anthony Wayne/Maumee, Ohio) will play at the NCAA Division II level next year after signing with Tiffin University.

Combs is already enrolled at Tiffin this semester, and he will have two years of eligibility left beginning next season.

In two seasons with the Owens Community College men's soccer team, Combs tallied 12 goals and nine assists. As a sophomore, he battled nagging injuries and only saw action in 16 games, but still managed seven goals and seven assists. In all, he started 34 of 38 games played the past two years.

This past season, Combs earned Second Team All-Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) honors. As a freshman, he was the team's Coaches Award recipient.

Prior to Owens, Combs was a standout at Anthony Wayne High School, where he was named All-Ohio Second Team (2011 and 2012), All-District First Team (2010 and 2011), All-District Second Team (2009), All-Northern Lakes League First Team (2009, 2010, and 2011) and All-NLL Honorable Mention (2008). A four-year varsity starter, Combs helped his team to a 2008 state semifinal appearance and a district championship in 2009.
