Toledo, Ohio---Four different players scored as the Owens Community College men's soccer team cruised past Cuyahoga Community College 4-1 at home today.

Owens controlled play for most of the first half, which led to a pair of solid shots on goal from Reiss Liggitt (Seminole/Birmingham, England) and Trae Green (Blessed Pope John Paul II C.S.S./Scarborough, Ontario, Canada) that were saved by Cuyahoga's John Paul Duff.

However, Josiah McCloud (Monclova Christian/Toledo, Ohio) broke free along the right side as he had done much of the first half and crossed a ball to Akeem McCarthy (Cornwall College/Montego Bay, Jamaica), who scored at the 35 minute mark to give Owens a 1-0 lead.

Neither team was able to score the rest of the half before Owens broke out with three more goals in the second half to seal the game.

The first came 11 minutes into the second frame when Green took a pass from McCarthy and gave Owens a two-goal cushion. The lead became three just before the 58th minute when Green threw a ball in to Hector Aguirre Jr. (Rossford/Rossford, Ohio), who scored his third goal of the season.

With his team down three, Cuyahoga's Jacob Marianut scored with just over 13 minutes left.

McCloud closed the scoring with a goal via a pass from Liggitt in the 87th minute.
