Keith Closson spent four years as an assistant coach in the Owens Community College men's soccer program.

His coaching experience includes previously serving as a men's and women's assistant coach at Ashland University from 2001-04.  In his stint with the women's program there, Ashland won the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference every season, advancing to the NCAA Division II tournament, including an Elite 8 appearance in 2004. 

Closson was also a women's assistant coach at the University of Akron in 2000. He also served as a boy's assistant coach at Toledo Central Catholic High School from 2007-09.

The Grove City High School graduate holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and marketing from Walsh University and a master's degree in geography from the University of Toledo.

He holds a National License from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), as well as licenses for Level 1 & 2 goalkeeping.

Closson, a Toledo resident, is an Adjunct Professor at Owens Community College, Mercy College and Schoolcraft College.
