Year: So.
Hometown: Holland, OH
High School: Springfield
Position: IF

2009-10: Bandeen was a member of last year's regional runner-up team, where she earned a spot on the All-Region Tournament team. She was named the team's offensive player of the year. She lists last year's back and forth regional game against Muskegon as her greatest personal sports thrill. In that game, Bandeen hit a three-run homer and she says nothing compared to the feeling the team had when they won to force one more game.

Owens career (2009-present): As a freshman last season, Bandeen led the team in hitting with a .410 average. In 100 at-bats, she had 41 hits, 12 doubles, one triple, four home runs, 28 RBIs and 24 runs scored. Her 28 RBIs was tops among freshman and second on the team, and she had a .453 on-base percentage. She stole 12 bases in 18 attempts, as well. Bandeen is described as one of the team's hardest workers. You can expect to see a lot of her on the left side of the infield.

Prior to Owens: Bandeen was a two-time Northern Lakes League champion at Springfield for coach Rob Gwozdz. As a senior, she was First Team All-NLL, a sectional champion and a Senior All-Star. As a junior, Bandeen was First Team All-NLL, First Team All-District, the team's offensive player of the year, a sectional and district champion, and a regional finalist. She was named a Springfield High School athlete of the week as a senior, was a member of the NLL vs. SLL All-Star team as a junior and senior, and a Toledo Blade Athlete of the Week as a junior. She also played volleyball, and was named Honorable Mention All-NLL her senior year. Academically, she won the Geometry Award her sophomore year, the Colored Pencil Drawing Award her junior year, and the AB Calculus Award her senior year.

Personal: Lindsey is the daughter of Scott and Cynthia Bandeen. Her dad participated in track and field at Bowling Green State University. She is an emergency medical management/pre-culinary transfer major at Owens.
