2015-16: Benschoter combined with Kailey Minarchick to form a solid 1-2 punch in the circle as a freshman. She finished the season 10-6 overall with two saves and seven complete games. In 96.2 innings pitched, she had a 2.90 ERA with 84 strikeouts. In conference play, she went 3-2 with one save and three complete games. In 29.2 innings pitched, she had a 2.36 ERA and 25 strikeouts.

Offensively, Benschoter went 3-for-11 with one run in limited action.

Following the season, Benschoter was named to the All-OCCAC team. She was named the OCCAC pitcher of the week on April 10.

Prior to Owens: Benschoter went 20-3 with a 0.97 ERA and 227 strikeouts over 152 innings as a senior. Following the year, she was named First Team All-Northern Buckeye Conference (NBC), First Team All-District, NBC Pitcher of the Year and Division III First Team All-Ohio. Offensively, she hit .474 with 22 RBI for the NBC champions.

On April 16, she tossed a perfect game against North Baltimore while striking out 13 of the 15 batters she faced.

As a junior, Benschoter went 24-5 as a junior with a 2.05 ERA. She struck out 213 over 174 innings pitched en route to First Team All-NBC and First Team All-District honors. She was also named the Ohio High School Pitcher of the Week on May 30 by JJ Huddle. Offensively, she hit. 453 with 26 RBI last year, as well.

In the district championship game, Benschoter scored the winning run and tossed a 3-hit shutout with eight strikeouts to lead Elmwood to a 1-0 win over Archbold. Then, she produced 13 strikeouts in her team's regional semifinal victory.

As a sophomore, the Bloomdale, Ohio native went 21-4 with a 1.81 ERA and 181 strikeouts, while hitting .368 with 17 RBI offensively. She earned First Team All-NBC and Honorable Mention All-District honors that year. As a freshman, she was Second Team All-NBC.
