Michael Redd
Title: Assistant Women's Basketball Coach

Michael Redd helped lead the Express women to a 20-11 record and an OCCAC championship in 1994-95. On Oct. 1, 1995, he passed away suddenly.

Prior to coaching at Owens, Coach Redd was the girls assistant varsity coach at Swanton High School from 1977-90. During that time, the Bulldogs went 180-76, including six NWOAL championships, eight sectional titles, six district titles, one regional title and a trip to the state tournament.

Coach Redd will not only be remembered for his knowledge and dedication to the game of basketball, but more importantly for his show of concern and sincerity toward the many young ladies he coached throughout the years. He was a positive influence on all the lives he touched and will be missed by many.
