Owens career: In 2000-01, she averaged 10.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per game, leading the team in both categories. Her postseason honors included OCCAC Second Team, as well as being named to the OCCAC All-Tournament and NJCAA Region XII All-Tournament teams. She was named one of the team's co-MVPs and co-Most Improved Players last season.

High School: Snyder High School graduate, Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she averaged 10.9 points, six rebounds and three assists per game as a senior.
