2002-03: Kubicek was named the team's Most Improved Player last year. She averaged eight points, eight rebounds and one block in 36 games.

High School: 2002 Maumee High School graduate, Maumee, Ohio, where she was a two-time All-Northern Lakes League and All-District selection. Her honors also included receiving the Coaches Award and recognition by the Maumee Mirror newspaper. The two-year team captain was a member of the volleyball and track teams, as well.
