2002-03: As a freshman, Weiland was an Honorable Mention All-OCCAC and All-OCCAC Academic team selection. She averaged 18 points, five rebounds and four steals in 36 games.

High School: 2002 Eastwood High School graduate, Pemberville, Ohio, where she earned First Team All-Suburban Lakes League and First Team All-Ohio recognition. An All-Wood County selection, her basketball honors included being named the SLL and District 7 Player of the Year. In addition, Weiland was a member of the cross country and track teams.
