Owens Career: In 2005-06, she was an OCCAC Honorable Mention All-Conference and OCCAC Academic All-Conference selection.  Named the team's Defensive Player of the Year, Simms played in 30 games and averaged 6.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals.

High School: 2005 Fremont Ross High School graduate, Fremont, Ohio, where she was First Team All-Greater Buckeye League and Honorable Mention All-Ohio.  Additionally, Simms was First Team All-GBC in track.
